Peter Altabef became president and chief executive officer of Perot Systems Corporation in September 2004 and is a member of the Perot Systems board of directors. Mr. Altabef has been a member of Perot Systems’ executive team for more than 14 years during which he contributed to building an IT services company with $2.3 billion of annual revenue in 2006 and more than 22 000 associates worldwide.
Since joining Perot Systems in 1993 Mr. Altabef has held the positions of vice president general counsel and secretary. He also led the development of the company’s business process solutions strategy.
Mr. Altabef serves on the board of directors of Merit Energy Company the board of trustees of the Dallas Children’s Theater and the associate’s board of Children’s Medical Center Dallas.
He is a past member of the advisory board of the Dallas Museum of Natural History and of the Highland Park Independent School District technology board advisory committee.
Mr. Altabef received a Juris Doctorate cum laude from The University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics with outstanding academic achievement from Binghamton University. |
