Experience:
Peter Acton is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm’s Boston office. He is a member of the Firm’s Trial Department, where he focuses his practice on bankruptcy and general commercial litigation.
Peter has experience representing both national and Massachusetts-based companies in complex reorganizations and lawsuits. He was recently part of a team protecting the interests of employee benefit plan participants in a major national bankruptcy case and has assisted in representing the interests of a Fortune 50 company in bankruptcy cases throughout the United States.
While in law school, Peter was a Notes & Articles editor on the Fordham Urban Law Journal . As the Honorable Milton Pollack Fellow, he interned for the Honorable Michael B. Mukasey of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
While at Villanova, Peter was the president of the student body and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Alpha Theta.
