Peter is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Group. He has extensive trial experience in a broad range of civil and white collar criminal litigation in both state and federal courts, and has tried cases before juries in every Superior Court in Maine. Most of his cases involve business and commercial disputes and products liability and professional liability claims in state and federal courts. Early in his career Peter was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Maine and served as Chief of the Criminal Division of the Department of Attorney General. He then founded and was managing partner of a Portland law firm specializing in litigation before joining Pierce Atwood as a partner in 1985. |
