Peter V. Styke Detroit, MI Peter Styke curently holds the position of Director of Launch Management for Methode Electronics, a global manufacturer of electronic components and subsystem devices for the automotive, communications, and aerospace industries. In his current role he has responsibilities for new product launch and development in China, Mexico, and the United States. Over the last 12 years Peter has supported Asian expansions by implementing Manufacturing Operations and Engineering/Marketing centers in Shanghai and Suzhou, China. With over 20 years experience in the automotive industry, Peter has established and managed manufacturing operations in Asia, South America and Europe. He previously held positions as Vice President International Operations, Director of Emerging Markets and Director of Technology Transfer, where he implemented the design and launch of new products in both China and Brazil. Peter holds a Bachelor degree in Business Communications and has studied engineering and program management at the University of Wisconsin, the University of Michigan, and Notre Dame. He has had extensive lean manufacturing training in the U.S. and Japan. He is currently studying Mandarin and lives with his wife and two children in West Bloomfield, Michigan. |
