Peter J. Coleman is executive vice president for Agilysys, Inc. Agilysys is a leading provider of innovative IT solutions to the corporate and public sectors, with special expertise in select vertical markets, including hospitality and retail. The company uses technology including hardware, software and services to help customers resolve their most complicated IT needs. Additionally, Agilysys possesses expertise in enterprise architecture and high availability, infrastructure optimization, storage and resource management, and business continuity; and provides industry-specific software, services and expertise to the hospitality and retail markets.
Mr. Coleman reports directly to Arthur Rhein, the chairman, president and chief executive officer of the Company, and is a member of the Agilysys Executive Committee. He began his career with Agilysys early in 1972. Previous positions he has held with the Company include sales and sales management, director of sales and marketing, and regional vice president. Mr. Coleman was also vice president of sales for the former Computer Systems Division. He was promoted to senior vice president, sales for the entire Company in 1998 and named to his current position in 2002. Mr. Coleman has been a member of the Agilysys Executive Committee since 2000.
Mr. Coleman attended the University of Maryland - College Park from 1973-1978 where he studied business administration and marketing. He sits on various distribution advisory councils for Agilysys vendors, and he is a member of the Global Technology Distribution Council. |
