Mr. Schurig is an associate in the Firm’s Litigation Group. He focuses his practice on intellectual property and business litigation. Prior to joining LeClairRyan, Mr. Schurig served in the United States Army as a Judge Advocate, where he was the primary legal advisor to and prosecutor for a Brigade at Fort Eustis, Virginia. Mr. Schurig handled the prosecution of complex trial matters in a wide range of high profile criminal cases, advised senior military officers on diverse criminal and civil issues and provided legal training on topics ranging from ethics to criminal justice to professional responsibility. Before becoming a Judge Advocate, Mr. Schurig worked for a national commercial bank handling various transactional matters and resolving client disputes. After receiving his undergraduate degree, Mr. Schurig was employed as a chemist and project manager with an environmental services company.
