Since beginning his career at Shughart Thomson & Kilroy in 1970, Perry M. Toll has enjoyed helping clients achieve their goals. His practice includes general and professional business organization, health care law, ERISA, pension and employee benefits, and income and estate tax planning. Mr. Toll has represented business and individual clients in all aspects of business and personal legal complexities. He focuses on finding solutions that meet the client's needs and legal requirements. He cares deeply about providing the best legal products for his clients.
Mr. Toll has been a regular speaker at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and the Kansas City Lawyer's Association Foundation's Recent Developments in Federal Taxes Program for more than 20 years.
Mr. Toll has previously chaired the Firm's Business Department, Health Care Practice, Professional Organizations Practice, Employee Benefits Practice and Agricultural Law Practice. He also served as the Firm's President for 10 years.
Mr. Toll has been recognized for 15 years in The Best Lawyers in America, in the category of Employee Benefits Laws, and as a Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers by Kansas City Magazine since 2005. He is a recipient of the Greater Kansas City MGMA's Lifetime Achievement Award, and a past president of the Heart of America Tax Institute and Eastern Kansas Estate Council.
