Description of Practice:
Paul Obico is senior counsel in the firm's Los Angeles Office, where he concentrates his practice on business and tax planning. Mr. Obico has been involved in various matters relating to acquisitions and dispositions of stock and assets of public and private companies, providing tax planning for start-up and early stage companies in formation of financings. He has also counseled corporations, partnerships, and individuals on federal and international taxation of business transactions, including sales, acquisitions and financings. Prior to joining Allen Matkins, Mr. Obico was a Tax Associate with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto. Mr. Obico is admitted to the State Bar of California and the New York Bar.
Educational History:
Mr. Obico received his B.A. in Psychology, from the University of California in 1993. He received his J.D. in 1996 from Loyola Law School, with honors, and his LLM in Tax from New York University School of Law in 1998. |
