Paul Joseph is responsible for business development and operations in this region. He has spent most of his career in logistics at Caterpillar. His last position in logistics was as Vice President for Cat Logistics in the Americas and for Aerospace and Defense worldwide. Paul joined Caterpillar in 1978, and has held a variety of positions in logistics, information systems, corporate strategic planning, manufacturing, industrial automation, and robotics. He has also worked at General Electric’s Aircraft Engine Group where he was involved with designing and manufacturing large commercial and military jet engines. Just prior to his current position, Paul was the Director of Global Information Technology (IT) Solutions, for Caterpillar Inc., based in Peoria, Illinois. In this position he was responsible for managing Caterpillar’s global IT environment. Paul has an Executive MBA from the University of Illinois, a Master of Engineering degree from Carnegie-Mellon University with a focus on Robotics and Automation, a Master of Science degree from George Washington University with a focus on Computer Aided Design, and a Bachelor of Technology Degree from the Indian Institute of Technology in Mechanical Engineering. |
