Dr. Paul Galstian is an Optometrist who specializes in post operative care,
intravitreal injection follow up care, contact lens fits, double vision correction,
primary eye care and emergency eye care. Dr. Galstian earned his Bachelor of
Science from New York University. He earned his Doctorate in 1991 from the
State University of New York’s College of Optometry.
Dr Galstian is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the State University of New York’s College of Optometry. He teaches Optometry Interns and Residents. He is also on staff at Cumberland Diagnostic and Treatment Center which is part of New York City’s Health and Hospital Corporation. He examines patients and teaches third year Medical Students from the State University of New York’s Downstate College of Medicine.
Dr. Galstian is a Past President and Former Board member of the Optometric Society of the City of New York which is the largest local Optometric Society in years, he has been a member of the American Optometric Association and New York State Optometric Association. Dr. Galstian has lectured to Ophthalmology Groups, the Ophthalmology Residents of the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and various Optometric Groups.
Dr. Galstian is an associate of Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island. Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island, OCLI, consists of 22 doctors representing each subspecialty of ophthalmology in 6 locations throughout Long Island; in Rockville Centre, Lynbrook, Valley Stream, Stony Brook, Manhasset and East Meadow. |
