Fusco, a seasoned executive with 20 years in the publishing and Internet arenas, and a 10-year veteran of Ziff Davis, most recently was Vice President at Oberon Media in New York. While at Oberon, a leading publisher and distributor of casual games and white-label game center solutions, Fusco headed up North American partnerships and global advertising. Fusco joined Ziff Davis Publishing in 1988 and held various management positions, including Director of Sales and Marketing, Central Advertising Sales, and later was named National Director of Sales for NetBuyer.com. In 1997 he left Ziff Davis to be co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Desktop News Corporation, which enabled custom content delivery to the desktop via Internet and Intranet models with revenue derived from licensing and advertising. In February 2004, Fusco returned to Ziff Davis as Executive Director of the company's games group, 1UP.com, one of the first online editorial and social networking sites for PC and video gamers. He built and managed the online advertising sales team and oversaw ad operations and strategy, sponsorships and business development partnerships. |
