As Vice President for Special Projects Paul Desborough acts as an advisor to the divisions' management and Shan's finance department on non-routine financial activities as well as assisting Sheri with acquisitions. Paul also is a minority shareholder and serves on the Shan Board. Prior to helping form Shan Industries, Paul had a 27-year career at Eastman Kodak with a variety of financial and management jobs. The more recent positions included Chief Financial Officer for Kodak Consumer Batteries, a startup venture that quickly captured significant market share in the US and Europe; Financial Director for Kodak's worldwide Photo Processing Division; a billion dollar enterprise; and as a Director for Mergers & Acquisitions. In this last assignment, while managing the divestiture of a technology division of Kodak, Paul met Sheri and Jan who represented the successful acquirer. |
