In February of 2007 Dr. Paul D’Sylva was appointed as a Director of CBI and was installed as the CEO. From 2005-2007 Dr. D'Sylva was a co-founder and Managing Director of the Australian Stock Exchange listed pharmaceutical company PharmAust Ltd which is an integrated developer manufacturer and supplier of a range of highly specialised pre-clinical small and large molecule drugs and high value patent-expired medicines over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and specialised hospital lines. In addition he held key executive positions in Mimotopes Pty Ltd Epichem Pty Ltd PharmAust Chemistry Ltd and served as a Director of the Centre of Excellence for Computational Comparative Genomics Melbourne Australia. Prior to the listing of PharmAust Dr D’Sylva served as the Director of Research and Development at Murdoch University (2001-2004). He has held executive positions in universities government and industry and graduate positions in the United States and Australia. Dr. D’Sylva earned his Ph.D. in Finance and Econometrics at the University of Arizona in 1997 as a National Science Foundation fellow |
