Over the past twenty years, Paul Berendt has constructed an extensive network of national, state and local leaders. His ability to build bridges between diverse groups and entities is unparalleled. Spearheading Strategies 360's grassroots advocacy and state government relations, Berendt manages complex campaigns by developing and executing field staffing strategies, media strategies, fundraising campaigns and an extensive grassroots network. During Paul's eleven-year tenure as Chairman of the Washington State Democratic Party, Washington Democrats compiled the best record of any State Party in the nation for winning federal, statewide and legislative electoral offices. Under Paul's leadership, Washington became the only state in United States history to elect women to all three major offices (Governor and both US Senators) at the same time. Additionally, Washington elected more women to the state legislature than any other state during Paul's term. His political career made national news and history when he spearheaded the winning post-election strategy in the closest statewide race in US History. In 2004, Christine Gregoire was elected to the office of Governor in the state of Washington after three vote counts and five lawsuits. Berendt believes in Bill Gate's philosophy that "how you collect, manage and use information will determine if you will win or lose". Growing up on a family farm, the son of an elected official, Paul learned that being smart, working hard and following good instincts will help you get ahead - whether you are hauling hay, managing a complex campaign or fighting on behalf of a business client.
