Paul Bonaiuto is executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) of Journal Communications. In addition to his role as CFO since 1996, he has served as chief operating officer of two of the Journal Communications operating companies, NorthStar Print Group Inc. (three years, 1996 - 1999) and Norlight Telecommunications Inc. (18 months, 1997 - 1999). Bonaiuto joined the Journal Communications companies in 1992 as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Perry Printing Corp., a former subsidiary. When Perry Printing was separated into two distinct businesses in 1994, NorthStar was created to serve the consumer product label market and niches of the commercial printing market. Bonaiuto was the first NorthStar president. Prior to joining the company, Bonaiuto had been vice president and chief financial officer of Graphic Packaging Corp., Paoli, Pa. Graphic Packaging was formed as a result of a management-led buyout from a NYSE company. In 1987 Graphic Packaging went public on the NASDAQ. Bonaiuto also served as an executive for a private equity investment firm in Wilmington, Del. Bonaiuto earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration - accounting at the University of Massachusetts. |
