Paul Ashley is the President of Smart City Networks, L.P. and has served since 2000.As President of Smart City Networks, Mr. Ashley’s knowledge and leadership guides the development and operations as well as steering internal team in the critical area of data services network designA 17-year veteran of the cable television and data industry, Mr. Ashley brings a wealth of experience and critical focus to our design group that will guarantee the efficiency of the system today and long into the future. As General Manager of AT&T Cable Services, he transitioned the cable television provider into its launch of digital services and construction of a Chicago area fiber ring and headend, in an area that included 50 cable franchises serving over 175,000 cable TV customers.Ashley received his Master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Michigan and began his career as Village Administrator in the Village of Lindenhurst, Illinois, serving as Chief budget officer and administrator for this full service village.Mr. Ashley currently serves on the Executive Committee Pioneer Pure Vision Las Vegas Bowl and has served on numerous community service organizations as President and Executive Committee Member for Big Brothers Big Sisters; YMCA; Rotary; Lake County Chamber of Commerce and Unity Way of Lake County. |
