Paul K. Willmott is Chairman of the Board of Uranium Resources, Inc. Between July, 2005, and August, 2007, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and previously served as President from 1995 to 2006 and Chief Financial Officer in 1995.
Mr. Willmott spent 25 years with Union Carbide Corporation where he was involved in finance and operations for that company’s world-wide mining and metals business prior to joining Uranium Resources. From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Willmott was employed by the Concord Mining unit of Union Carbide as a Senior Vice President and was primarily involved in the acquisition of uranium and vanadium operating assets for UMETCO Minerals Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Union Carbide. Prior to that, he was President of UMETCO from 1987 to 1991, and was responsible for the subsidiary’s uranium and vanadium businesses. Mr. Willmott graduated from Michigan Technological University with a Bachelor of Science degree in mining and a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering administration. He has been an active member of the American Institute of Mining Engineers, the Canadian Institute of Mining Engineers and a number of state professional organizations. |
