Mr. Paul Curlander has been chairman and chief executive officer of Lexmark International, Inc., a spin-off of IBM, since April 1999, after serving as president and chief executive officer since May 1998. He joined Lexmark when it was formed in 1991 as the director for printers with responsibility for worldwide printer development and manufacturing, and subsequently held increasingly responsible positions within the company.
His senior leadership positions included vice president and general manager for Lexmark's printer business, executive vice president with responsibility for overseeing all Lexmark divisions, and president and chief operating officer.
Prior to joining Lexmark, he spent 17 years with IBM in various product development and management positions. |
