As president and chief executive officer of BT Counterpane, Paul is responsible for the direction and vision of BT Counterpane's innovative real time Managed Security Services. With twenty-four years of network and IT management experience, Paul leads the teams that protect BT Counterpane's customers from hackers, insiders and virus attacks. Before joining BT Counterpane, Paul was president and CEO of Peak XV Networks, a global network management and engineering company. Paul's first entrepreneurial success was as co-founder, president and CEO of Groundswell, a premier internet consulting firm. Under his leadership, the company grew from three to over 225 consultants in five offices across the country. Prior to starting Groundswell, he was a vice-president at IBM Global Services where he was responsible for the telecommunications, media, entertainment and utility industries for North and South America. Before that he was a partner at KPMG Consulting, in charge of the National Telecommunications practice. Paul earned his MBA from the University of Notre Dame Graduate School of Business, and his Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Mary's College of California. |
