Paul brings nearly 20 years of experience in investor relations and financial media relations for both agencies and public companies. He rejoins Sharon Merrill Associates after five years as a senior consultant to a leading financial media relations firm, where he garnered national and international media coverage for his clients in the investment banking, mutual fund and financial services sectors. Paul's work at Sharon Merrill Associates included three years counseling client companies and developing and implementing strategic investor relations programs. Paul has extensive experience in public company communications and initial public offerings and has held senior communications positions at Thermo Electron Corporation, Allmerica Financial and Camp Dresser & McKee. While at Thermo Electron, Paul was responsible for the IPO communications strategy for eight subsidiary companies involved in various aspects of the analytical instrumentation market. At Allmerica Financial, Paul was a member of the communications team for one of the nation’s first insurance company demutualizations. Paul is skilled in effectively communicating highly technical information to both the investment community and to the general public, and has particular experience in the high technology, medical device and biotechnology fields. |
