Paul H. McPherson, Ph.D., is Vice President, Research and Development at Biosite Incorporated. He joined the Company in 1993 and is responsible for leading Biosite’s research and development efforts in creating novel, rapid medical diagnostics for critical diseases and health conditions. Prior to his current position, Dr. McPherson was Director, Research and Development, and was instrumental in the development of the Triage Meter and Triage Test Panels.
Prior to joining Biosite, Dr. McPherson was a post-graduate research physicist at the University of California, San Diego, and conducted research on the primary processes of photosynthesis
Dr. McPherson received his doctorate in physics (biophysics) and his masters in physics from the University of California, San Diego. He received his bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. |
