Mr. Vellano was elected Executive Vice President and COO of the firm in September, 2007. He also manages the Banking Law and Commercial Transactions practice groups. Mr. Vellano’s banking practice includes commercial loan closings, loan documentation and restructuring, property purchase and sale, bank branch formation and general regulatory and compliance issues.A frequent lecturer before numerous banking groups and the National Business Institute, Mr. Vellano has presented topics including loan and deposit documentation, loan closings and structuring, loan workouts, lender liability planning and collection methods and strategies.
