Paul Rocheleau brings a broad range of leadership experience with global multi-national corporations coupled with extensive involvement with the financial markets in investment strategy, M&A activity and capital market transactions. Paul has extensive operational experience as the CFO of Albemarle Corporation (2002-2005) and as CEO of Albright and Wilson plc (1996-2000), both complex global public corporations. In these positions he developed expertise in public equity offerings, recapitalizations, joint venture formation and acquisitions, often creating the strategic objective and negotiating transactions in complex circumstances. He has also provided advisory services for a range of privately-held businesses from technology start-ups to industrial and service companies. He is currently an Advisory Board member to Apex Systems ($300 million IT staffing) and NanoChemonics ($7 million nanoparticle manufacturer). Over the past 12 years he has been actively involved with institutional asset management, developing expertise in alternative asset classes. He is also a Founding Trustee of the VCU School of Engineering, where he is VP Finance and has responsibility for the $40 million endowment. Paul is an engineering graduate of the University of Delaware and received a MBA from the University of Virginia (Darden School) where he was an Abbott Scholar. |
