In January 2004, Paul D. Waite was appointed vice-president IMX (Intermodal Excellence), an initiative launched by CN to improve the quality and efficiency of its intermodal services. IMX applies CN's highly successful scheduled railroading practices to the transport of containers and truck trailers by rail.
Prior to that, Mr. Waite was assistant vice-president, domestic intermodal since 1999, a position in which he was responsible for all sales and marketing activities for domestic intermodal in North America.
Mr. Waite graduated from York University in Toronto with a degree in business administration. During his 30 years at CN, Mr. Waite has held numerous positions in sales, marketing and business development. |
