Paul Campbell has been President and Chief Executive Officer of SITQ, a member company of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec’s Real Estate Group, since October 2001. Background Mr. Campbell has some 35 years of experience working for major real estate groups with Canadian and U.S. portfolios that have included shopping centres, office, residential and industrial properties, as well as hotels. Mr. Campbell began his real estate career in 1967 at Maron Properties, where he worked for ten years. He moved to Campeau Corporation in 1977, successively holding the posts of Senior Director, Leasing and Executive Vice-President, Properties until 1984. Between 1984 and 1987 he was Vice-President of the Oxford Development Group. Paul Campbell then began to deepen his knowledge about U.S. real estate markets. President of Campeau Canada from 1987 to 1990, he became the President and Chief Executive Officer of Trilea Centres, a Bramalea subsidiary, in late 1990, before being appointed Chief Operating Officer of Bramalea itself. In 1995, he was named President of Aberlour. From 1996 to 1998, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Nexacor Realty Management, Bell Canada’s real estate subsidiary. Subsequently, from 1998 to 2001, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Revenue Properties Company, an Ontario firm with interests in the Canadian commercial and residential sectors, as well as in the U.S. retail area. Mr. Campbell was appointed to his current position as President and Chief Executive Officer of SITQ in 2001.
