Dr. Paul Browne received his medical degree in 1981 from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, NC. He completed his obstetrical residency at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in 1986 and his fellowship training in maternal-fetal medicine in 1988 at Duke University Medical Center. He was Director of the Obstetrical Ultrasound Unit at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta for five years prior to establishing his own practice in 1993. Dr. Browne is the recipient of the prestigious John Motley Scholarship at the University of North Carolina while an undergraduate, a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and a National Merit Scholarship Finalist. He was awarded the Lane Scholarship at Duke University School of Medicine in 1980. Board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Browne is a member of the American Medical Association, the Americal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Society of Perinatal Obstetricians, and the National Perinatal Association. |
