Paul Rosenbaum was elected in September 2000 to serve as Rentrak’s Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Rosenbaum has been a shareholder of Rentrak since 1994. Mr. Rosenbaum also serves as the CEO of SWR Corp., a marketer of specialty industrial chemicals based in Michigan, which he founded in 1994.From 1972 to 1978 Mr. Rosenbaum served in the Michigan Legislature, during which he chaired the House Judiciary Committee, was legal counsel to the Speaker of the House and wrote and sponsored the Michigan Administrative Procedures Act. He also served on the National Conference of Commissioners On Uniform State Laws, was Vice Chairmen of the Criminal Justice and Consumer Affairs Committee of the National Conference Of State Legislatures, and served on a Michigan Supreme Court Committee responsible for reviewing all local Court rules.From 1980-1986 he served on the Board of Trustees of Springfield College. He is an expert in banking and insurance law and during his career has had several articles published in state and national law journals.
