Patrick O'Connor Vice President of Engineering Mr. O'Connor joined Canesta from Parthus Technologies where he served as Platform Director for the company's InfoStream ARM 920T based SoC I.P. platform. There, he managed an engineering team based in San Jose, Austin, Texas and Dublin, Ireland and was responsible for all hardware and software IP development for the platform and direct support of InfoStream customers in the U.S. and Europe.Prior to joining Parthus, Mr. O'Connor spent four years with Aureal Semiconductor in Fremont. There he served as Director of Consumer Products, where he was responsible for development of highly integrated mixed signal ASICs and digital signal processors and research and development in audio signal processing algorithms for consumer audio such as karaoke and home theatre effects. Before that, Mr. O'Connor held engineering positions at Analog Devices, Connexant and National Semiconductor, concentrating in design and development of highly integrated mixed signal ASICs for the consumer and mobile communications markets.Mr. O'Connor holds a BSEE from Dublin Institute of Technology and University of Dublin, Trinity College. |
