Experience: Pat has over 37 years of experience in accounting and auditing and has been actively involved on numerous AICPA boards establishing standards for the accounting profession. This service included the Auditing Standards Board, which is the senior technical body of the AICPA designated to issue generally accepted auditing standards in the United States. Accounting and Review Services Committee, which is the senior technical committee of the AICPA designated to issue standards for compiled and reviewed financial statements. Technical Issues Committee of the Private Companies Practice Section, which monitors the FASB and other standard setting bodies for their effects on private companies.Special Expertise Pat serves as Quality Review and Assurance Partner for the firm’s nine offices. He is also a general service partner with direct client responsibility. He is experienced in litigation support services dealing with accountants malpractice, loss of income, fraud and other matters and has served as an expert witness in depositions and trial testimony throughout Virginia. Nonprofit organizations have been a special area of involvement for Pat, both professionally and personally.
