Patricia Nachtigal is senior vice president and general counsel of Ingersoll Rand. Before being named senior vice president in July 2000 she was vice president since 1991 and prior to being vice president she was secretary and managing attorney for the company.
Patricia joined Ingersoll Rand in 1979 as a tax attorney and held increasingly responsible positions until her election as secretary of the company in 1988. Before joining Ingersoll Rand she was an attorney at Hughes Hubbard & Reed in New York.
Patricia received a bachelor of arts degree from Montclair State University in 1968. She also earned a juris doctor degree from Rutgers School of Law - Newark in 1976 and a master of laws degree in taxation from New York University School of Law in 1982.
Patricia holds membership in the American Bar Association the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. She is co-chair of the New Jersey General Counsels Group. Also Patricia serves on the United States Trade Representative’s Trade Advisory Committee on Africa and is a member of the board of trustees of Rutgers The State University of New Jersey and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Greater North Jersey Chapter. |
