Patricia McAndrew is Associate Director of Clinical Laboratory Operations at GeneDx, Inc. Her research experience has focused on the development and implementation of novel and rapid techniques for use in molecular diagnostics. Following her fellowships at the Ohio State University and Children's National Medical Center, she worked to develop assays for diagnostic tests using denaturing high performance liquid chromatography (DHPLC). Here at GeneDx, Patty is responsible for supervising laboratory personnel, analyzing and interpreting sequence data, and shares oversight responsibilities with Dr. Olivos-Glander of the daily functions of the clinical laboratory. |
