Patricia Mathis has served in leadership positions in the telecom industry for twenty-five years. She was a founder of the Mathis Group, a Washington-based strategic consulting firm which guided the product and marketing development of MCI during the 1980s and early 1990s, and subsequently at Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, and at global integrators such as PRC and SAIC. She has also lead creative efforts to develop convergence products and was CEO of one of the leading voice recognition mass-market product companies. Her career also includes service in both the public and private sectors, including directorships on both major university boards and on public and private corporate boards. President Carter named her Assistant Secretary of the Treasury and President Clinton chose her to help craft the strategy for the transition for his new Administration. |
