Patricia Beauvais is an experienced healthcare professional with over 25 years experience in managed care including management positions in quality improvement and utilization management for a large HMO. As an independent consultant, she has work with a variety of organizations including health plans, behavioral health, special need programs, physician directed, home care, long-term care and sub-acute facilities. Ms Beauvais experience is focused on the assessment, development and implementation of quality and medical management programs and activities including provider credentialing, enrollee complaints and appeals, clinical and service studies, and accreditation. She is a National Committee of Quality Assessment (NCQA) surveyor for all product lines. She has assisted NCQA in educational programs, NCQA and Pfizer in Quality Profiles reviews and Pfizer in Quality Forums. She has worked with GHG’s clients in application submission, program assessments, policies and procedures, and implementation of new products. Ms Beauvais is a registered nurse licensed in the state of Minnesota with clinical nursing experience in medical, surgical, chemical dependency, and behavioral health. She has a M.A in Human Health Service Administration from St. Mary's College, Winona, Minnesota; a BA in Psychology from the University of Minnesota, Minnesota; and a R.N. Diploma from Beverly Hospital School of Nursing, Beverly, Massachusetts. |
