Patricia L. Renzi - MG-ALFA Product Manager Current responsibility Pat is a principal with Seattle office of Milliman and is responsible for the oversight of the marketing, development, planning, and client service for Milliman's MG-ALFAź product. MG-ALFA is an actuarial projection and pricing tool used within the Milliman Life practices, as well as by more than 70 insurers worldwide. Pat joined the firm in 1999. Experience Prior to joining Milliman, Pat spent nine years working with the PTS software system at SS&C/CHALKE Incorporated and at Avon Consulting Group. During this time, Pat was involved in development, providing and managing support and training, and working with customers to define the product content and direction. While at Avon, Pat used the PTS" system to provide consulting support to life insurance companies, including building corporate models, performing cash-flow testing, system customization, and product pricing.Pat began her career working in the actuarial departments of GEICO Life and Annuity Company and CIGNA as an actuarial systems specialist and at Reliance Insurance Company, where she assisted in the implementation of an ALM modeling process.Presentations and publications Pat has been a guest speaker on several occasions at Society of Actuaries meetings, speaking on topics such as "Technology as a Competitive Advantage," "General Modeling Techniques," "Real Time Stochastic Analysis," and "Complex Liability Modeling Issues." She served as executive editor of The CHALKE Perspective, a quarterly newsletter published by SS&C/CHALKE Incorporated, from September 1992 through June 1997. |
