Patrice E. Morse is a Partner in the Family and Probate Law Group. She specializes in high conflict custody and domestic abuse matters. Prior to joining Casner & Edwards, LLP, Ms. Morse was an associate at the law firm of White, Inker, Aronson, P.C. where she focused her practice on divorce, custody, 209A and paternity matters. Prior to holding this position, Ms. Morse served as an Assistant District Attorney in Norfolk and Suffolk Counties. In Norfolk County she served as a member of the Appellate Division, appearing before the Massachusetts Appeals Court, and later served as a member of the domestic violence prosecution team in the Quincy District Court. Following her service in Norfolk, Ms. Morse became the Domestic Violence Point Prosecutor in Suffolk County, Chelsea District Court, where she specialized in domestic and sexual assault, handling the most difficult district court cases. Ms. Morse is a member of the Boston Bar Association. She is a frequent lecturer at Boston College Law School where she teaches trial practice. She has also guest lectured at Suffolk University School of Law on issues related to child custody and domestic abuse. Ms. Morse received a J.D. from Boston College Law School. While in law school, Ms. Morse served clerkships at the U.S. Attorneys Office, the U.S. Department of Justice, both in Washington, D. C. She received a B.A., Cum Laude, Magna Cum Honore in Thesi from Tufts University. |
