Mr. Davis joined JPBE in 2004 and is a Managing Director of JPB Capital Partners II. Prior to joining JPBE, Mr. Davis was CEO of AHS, LLC, a company in the Mid-Atlantic region that he co-founded for the acquisition and commercialization of a patented water-treatment technology that addresses new international environmental regulations for the commercial shipping industry. As a director and CEO of AHS, Mr. Davis negotiated early-stage financing through private investors and state and federal agencies. He established working relationships with strategic partners, manufacturers, industry regulators and congressional representatives. Mr. Davis also negotiated and received patent awards from China, Japan, Norway, Brazil and the European Union. Prior to founding AHS, Mr. Davis spent over six years in investment banking at Merrill Lynch in New York, most recently as Vice President in the Global Industries Group, where he focused on the industrial technologies sector. At Merrill Lynch, Mr. Davis was responsible for relationships with several client accounts and was directly involved in over 40 completed transactions with an aggregate value of over $30 billion, including public and private offerings of debt and equity, mergers, acquisitions, and advisory assignments. Mr. Davis is Co-Chairman of the Davis Fellows, a full scholaship program awarded at Hampden-Sydney College. Mr. Davis earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Dartmouth College and a Master of Business Administration from the Darden School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia. Mr. Davis has also studied at Oxford University in England. |
