Ms. Wheeler joined Kimco Staffing Services in 1988 as Branch Manager, charged with the task of opening a new branch office in South Orange County and building the company's presence in that area. Ms. Wheeler progressed to Area Manager in 1993, and was offered the newly created position of Vice President of the Office/Industrial Practice the following year. In recognition of her exceptional leadership-development skills, Ms. Wheeler was again promoted in February 2000 to become Kimco's first Senior Vice President. In this capacity, she assumes senior-level responsibility for the company's five staffing practices.
Prior to joining Kimco, Ms. Wheeler was Administrative Marketing Manager for Balboa Life and Casualty, where she developed and managed incentive programs for 15 regional centers. Previous experience includes two years at American Savings and Loan (now Washington Mutual), where she was responsible for all marketing dimensions for their largest division, as well as development/management of quarterly incentive programs for a sales force covering twelve regions statewide. Ms. Wheeler attended St. John's College in Winfield, Kansas, majoring in Music and Business. |
