Pamela Gigi Chawla, MD, is the vice chief of staff of Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. Chawla, a pediatrician in the Children’s Clinic on the St. Paul campus, attended medical school at the University of Minnesota. She completed her pediatric residency training and chief residency at the University of Minnesota. She was employed at Boston Children’s Hospital as a fulltime hospitalist for a year before moving back to join the Clinic in 2001.
Chawla chairs the Professional Staff Campaign Committee and the Order Set Development Team. She is a member of the Professional Executive Committee, Medicine Division Committee and the Medicine Division Peer Review Committee. She previously served as the secretary/treasurer to Children’s professional staff during 2005 and 2006. |
