Pam primary legal focus is intellectual property and technology law. She prosecutes copyrights, trademarks, and biotechnology and chemical patents for publicly and privately-held business and institutional clients. She also structures licensing agreements and works closely with clients involved in patent, trademark and copyright litigation and disputes. Pam is a member of the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association, as well as the American, Ohio State and Cleveland Bar Associations. An author and reviewer, Pam has written and reviewed material on cellular biology, biochemistry, biophysics and the patenting dilemma surrounding human genome research. During law school, she served as editor of Akron Law Journal. Pam was a clinical biochemist with the Tucson Medical Center from 1967 to 1970, and a USPHS postdoctoral fellow in molecular and cellular biology at The Pennsylvania State University from 1981 to 1984. She served as a research associate in Penn State’s Biochemistry Program from 1984 to 1987. From 1988 to 1991, she was an instructor and senior research associate in the biochemistry department at Case Western Reserve University Medical School. Pam began her tenure with Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP as an associate in 1994, becoming a senior attorney in 1998. |
