Pamela A. Harbeson’s practice focuses on business reorganization, Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy law, creditors’ rights, business workouts, insolvency and commercial litigation. She has represented trustees, debtors, secured creditors and official unsecured creditors committees in a variety of bankruptcy cases and transactions.Pam was born in Boonton, New Jersey. She graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Philosophy from Drew University and then received her law degree with honors from Boston College Law School. Upon graduation from BCLS, Pam joined the Commercial Department of Hale and Dorr LLP. In 1996, she joined Looney & Grossman as part of the Bankruptcy Practice Group. Pam is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Pam was elected Partner in 2002.Pam is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Steering Committee of the Boston Bar Association, Bankruptcy Law Section. Pam is on the Board of Directors and is Co-Chair of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation New England Network. Pam is a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy and insolvency issues. Pam is also a member of the adjunct faculty of the New England School of Law, lecturing on Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights. |
