Pam Abrams joined Downtown BookWorks as Senior Vice President in early 2006. A 20+ year veteran of the magazine business (Harper's, Parents, Child) and editorial executive at eToys.com and Scholastic, Pam is now turning her attention to producing books. As an authority on parenting, Pam frequently appears on television and radio. She is the author of a children's book, Now I Eat My ABCs (Cartwheel) and a cookbook, Gadgetology (Harvard Common Press, 2007). At DTBW she is producing cookbooks, kid's books, and books on parenting, crafts, health, psychology, pop culture, and inspiration. She serves on the Board of Directors of Consumer's Union. Abrams graduated from State University of New York in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. |
