Pallavi Bedi works in the Finance department specialising in Project Finance with a strong focus on oil and gas (including LNG) and urban infrastructure. She has been involved with the development of and the financing for the expansion of the first re-gasification terminal in India.
Notable Engagements:
Advising Petronet LNG in relation to amendments to their existing project finance payment structure (both onshore and offshore payments arrangements) to provide for enhancement of their terminal's capacity and increased borrowings. Drafted and finalised amendment agreements to fuel payment account structure (offshore arrangements) and debt service & operating capital account structure (onshore arrangements).
Advising Oil India Limited on its proposed acquisition of a participating interest in an overseas oil and gas company, including advising on the transaction documents.
Advising Gazprom on various legal issues in relation to its operations in the offshore block in the north east coast of India including environmental clearances and service tax aspects.
Advising the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai in relation to the development of integrated waste management facilities within the city of Mumbai, including drafting the bidding documents and the concession agreement.
Advising Delhi Development Authority with respect to the bidding process for the Residential Facility Project for the Common Wealth Games, 2010 including drafting the project development agreement.
Advising Jindal Steel Limited with respect to its project for the construction, operation and maintenance of Bus-Q-shelters on BOOT basis for DTC including reviewing the concession agreement and the related project documents.
Advising GE Capital Services India with respect to the syndicated term loan facility of Rs. 230 crores to be granted to DLF Cyber City Developers Limited including reviewing and vetting the lending and security documents in relation thereto.
