Dr. Kolterman one of our executive officers has served as Senior Vice President Clinical Affairs since February 1997 and as Senior Vice President Regulatory Affairs since August 2005. Dr. Kolterman previously served as Vice President Medical Affairs from July 1993 to February 1997 and Director Medical Affairs from May 1992 to July 1993. From 1983 to May 1992 he was Program Director of the General Clinical Research Center and Medical Director of the Diabetes Center at the University of California San Diego Medical Center. Since 1989 he has been Adjunct Professor of Medicine at UCSD. From 1978 to 1983 he was Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Endocrinology and Metabolism Division at the University of Colorado School of Medicine Denver. He was a member of the Diabetes Control and Complications Trial Study Group and presently serves as a member of the Epidemiology of Diabetes Intervention and Complications Study. He is also a past-president of the California Affiliate of the American Diabetes Association. Dr. Kolterman earned his M.D. from Stanford University School of Medicine. |
