Dr. Burger received her bachelor and MSc degrees in Agronomy from the Hebrew University and her DSc Degree in Biotechnology Engineering from Technion. Before joining Pluristem, Dr. Burger serves for two years as an R&D advisor in several biotech companies. She was then appointed to the position of Director of R&D of Diagnostic Technology ltd., where she led the development of academie-based technologies into analytical kits. Dr Burger was responsible for leading the entire product development process from the bench into clinical research and regulatory approval completed with the EU awarding of a CE Mark.
Dr Burger is a recipient of several distinguished prizes and scholarships from the Technion and from national foundations and completed a Post-Doctoral training at Technion and Tel Aviv University. Presently, Dr. Burger is a visiting senior lecturer at the faculty of Biotechnology and Food Engineering of the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology. |
