Oliver D. Griffin, an Associate in the firm's commercial litigation group concentrates his practice in commercial litigation matters. In addition to numerous financial institutions, Mr. Griffin has successfully represented businesses and individuals in disputes involving trademarks, design patents, employment agreements and a variety of other complex business issues. Moreover, Mr. Griffin has acted as counsel to a Special Litigation Committee and is therefore familiar with the many nuances of corporate governance. Mr. Griffin serves as co-chair of the Ethics Subcommittee of the American Bar Association's Section of the Litigation Committee on Commerical and Business Litigation. Additionally, Mr. Griffin is an active member of the Villanova Law School's Inn of Court, as well as the Business Litigation Sections of the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. He has been named a Pennsylvania "Super Lawyer-Rising Star" (Business Litigation Section) for 2005, 2006, and 2007, an award only given to approximately 2.5% of lawyers under 40 or with less than 10 years of experience, as published by Law & Politics and featured in Philadelphia Magazine. Mr. Griffin is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and before the United States District Court of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, as well as the United States District Court of the District of New Jersey. He is a 1997 graduate of the University of Western Ontario, where he studied at University College and received an Honors degree in English Literature. He graduated from Villanova University School of Law in 2001. |
