Olga Loy is a transactional and finance attorney whose practice focuses especially on fund formations. A partner in Mayer Brown’s Corporate & Securities Practice, Olga represents private equity funds and fund sponsors in structuring, negotiating and forming private equity and venture capital funds. She plans and structures other complex business transactions, including leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and private equity and venture capital investments.
Olga has represented numerous large and mid-size private equity funds and their management companies, and she has handled transactions ranging in size from several million dollars to more than $2 billion. Clients she has represented include private equity funds and fund management companies investing in Eastern Europe. She also represents private equity clients in private equity and venture capital investments, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations and buyouts, with an emphasis on tax structuring and planning.
Olga joined Mayer Brown in 2006. Previously (2000-2006), she was associated with another prominent law firm in Chicago.
