Octavio Portu, Jr., co-founded Portu-Sunberg Marketing, a manufacturer’s representative firm that markets seasonal holiday products to major regional and national retailers. He also co-founded Seasonal Specialties, importing holiday seasonal products to major regional and national retailers, and Strategic Designs, designing and marketing new product ideas. Portu holds both a BA and an MBA from The American University in Washington, DC.
In addition to serving on Children’s board, Portu is a board member of the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation. He has served on the boards of the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery and the Children’s Theatre Company. Portu also has long service with the Breck School, currently serving as a board member and member of the executive committee. |
