Norman F. Oblon is an officer and a member of the firm's Board of Directors and was the firm's founding partner. He is also a managing partner of the firm and of the firm's Chemical Practice Group. He frequently lectures in patent law in the U.S., Japan, Germany, Italy, France, and England.
Mr. Oblon received his Law degree with honors from George Washington University National Law Center (1968) and holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University (1964).
Mr. Oblon is a member of the Bars of the U.S. Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for Washington, D.C. He is a member of the Bar Associations of Washington, D.C., and Virginia, the American Bar Association, and the American Intellectual Property Law Association. |
