Norman Purvis is the Director of Analytical Systems for the Center for Innovation. Dr. Purvis is a member of the International Society for Analytical Cytology, the New York Academy of Sciences, and the Biomedical Engineering Society. He has been published in the fields of engineering, flow cytometry, standardization, and quantification techniques. His research efforts have focused on the development of new quantitative flow cytometric standardization techniques and novel quantitative flow cytometric assays. Dr. Purvis is also intimately engaged in the development of innovative approaches to laboratory automation for improving sample preparation and analysis at all Esoterix laboratories. Dr. Purvis received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and a Masters in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University. |
