Mr. Bogen is Director of Networking Research at In-Stat. In this capacity he is responsible for the group that researches and reports on service provider and premises-based network equipment and applications. His current area of focus is new voice networks and applications including VoIP and fixed/mobile convergence. Norm has over 20 years experience in the information technology industry ranging from PCs and output devices to local, metro and wide area networks. He has held product management, product marketing and strategic planning positions with several technology-based companies. Norm has previously been a Senior Analyst for In-Stat/MDR covering computing, multimedia and semiconductor topics. He has been quoted in a variety of publications and made presentations at major industry trade shows. Mr. Bogen’s educational background includes a B.S. degree in systems engineering from the University of Arizona and an MBA degree from UCLA.
